On February 6, the University of the Philippines (UP) and the Upsilon Sigma Phi Alumni Assocation, Incorporated (USPAAI) signed a Memorandum of Agreement on the construction of the UP Promenade.

I am now able to confirm that it is Upsilon Sigma Phi Fraternity that has been implicated in a hazing incident during which a UP Diliman student sustained severe injuries.
The family of the victim has authorized me to divulge the name of the fraternity and to say they will be taking formal legal action next week. They reiterate a request for privacy.
