The Department of Communication Research (Comm Res) of the College of Mass Communication (CMC) held its first international conference from September 22 to 23 at the UP Diliman (UPD) campus.
Titled “Voices and Noises: Communication and Integration within and across ASEAN Communities,” the event was an offshoot of the department’s National Communication Research Conference (NCRC) which began in 2012. Expanding its coverage, the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings now includes institutions from 10 more countries for 2016-2017, including one from the Philippines, its national university, the University of the Philippines.
