Call for Application for 2016-2017 Student Exchange Programs

The Office of International Linkages is now accepting applications for the Academic Year 2016-2017 UP Student Exchange Programs with various international universities. Tuition is free at the host university and selected students are also recommended by UP to the respective scholarship program offered by the host university. Selected students can avail of the University’s Mobility for Vigor and Excellence (MOVE UP) opportunity.
Students who meet the following qualifications are eligible to apply:
(1) enrolled in UP at the time of application;
(2) sophomore to senior standing with very good scholastic record minimum of 2.0 GWA; and

The ASEAN University Network: Demonstrating the ASEAN Spirit in Higher Education

Even before ASEAN leaders during the Summit in Kuala Lumpur in December 1997 formulated the ASEAN Vision 2020,1 higher education institutions across the region had unified their efforts to make the ASEAN Community a reality.
The ASEAN University Network is an association of universities established in November 1995 with the signing of its Charter by the higher education officials of six member countries. UP is No. 1 university in RP, moves up in Asian rankings

The University of the Philippines (UP) remains the country’s top university while moving up four places in the ranking of Asia’s top 300 universities, from no. 67 in 2013 to no. 63 in 2014, according to the latest results from international higher education information provider Quacquarelli Symonds (QS).
