With the roar of the UP community behind them, the UP Pep Squad bent conventions en route to a solid runner-up finish in the UAAP Cheerdance Competition 2014.
In what was described as more of a vision than a theme, the squad which has been called the “Pep Squad ng Bayan” sported colored braids and featured pyramids that had female dancers lifting their male counterparts in an embodiment of the spirit of equality (pantay-pantay).
